The first-ever football game will be played Thursday for Missouri Baptist University. Are you as prepared for the game as our Spartans?

The MBU football team will hit their pillows tonight full of anticipation for Thursday’s game against Southeastern Missouri State University.

Not only will the athletes be excited to make history, but everyone on campus has been waiting for this day to come.

The overwhelming number of students who wanted to attend the game caused MBU to send a second bus to accommodate all of the fans.

As we all wait apprehensively for kick off, the MBU Sports Information Department has put together an interview between head coach Jason Burianek and Harry Schroeder, the voice of Spartan Football.

They discuss everything that has led up to this point in Spartan Football, including Coach Burianek’s choice to come coach at MBU and how he put together his coaching staff and roster.

Thursday’s game will be broadcast on the Spartan Digital Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. local time.
