For many college students, relaxation is simply nonexistent. Life is just too busy. But summer break, however, is a chance to turn it around, at least occasionally.
Students who are graduating over the summer are allowed to go through Commencement next Tuesday, April 29, but those who will be graduating with honors will not be allowed to wear their honor cords indicating this soon-to-be achievement. The question is: Why?
Kristen Strange, a freshman education major, loves to ride horses, but more importantly she uses that love of riding to provide therapy for students with certain needs.

We can take away inspiration from the stories of sacrifice and accomplishment that led many Olympians to the pinnacle of their sport, but we can’t forget where they came from.

*The WordPress website has been up since late-fall 2013. We average about 3,000 sessions and about 5,000 pageviews per month.
*Our stories and galleries get as few as 40 or 50 hits, or as many as 8,000 hits.
*We have readers in every state and more than 90 countries around the world. We have several readers in South America, the United Kingdom, India and Australia.
*Most of our readers are in Missouri, followed by Illinois, California and Texas.
*We do not accept advertising as we are a not-for-profit online newsmagazine.
