Ashlie Hoch is a staff journalist and editor for MBU Timeline. She is a senior and majors in English while earning a minor in Journalism as well as a Writing Certificate. She is the president of Sigma Tau Delta. Born and raised in St. Louis, Mo., Ashlie enjoys reading, spending almost all of her time outside, horseback riding and practicing martial arts.
For many college students, relaxation is simply nonexistent. Life is just too busy. But summer break, however, is a chance to turn it around, at least occasionally.

Students who are graduating over the summer are allowed to go through Commencement next Tuesday, April 29, but those who will be graduating with honors will not be allowed to wear their honor cords indicating this soon-to-be achievement. The question is: Why?
