MBU Women’s Basketball Preseason Training

The Missouri Baptist University women’s basketball team is coming off a rough season with a record of 8-21, but they are ready to improve this year and training hard in preseason to prepare. The season opener is Nov. 3 at College of the Ozarks.

Combining his love of basketball and his faith in Christ, an MBU basketball coach has spent the last seven years deeply affecting his students and players.

MBU head men’s basketball coach Ray Farrell has been roaming the sidelines for the Spartans for the past seven years, but he brings more than coaching prowess to his game plan, he brings a focus on Jesus Christ being in the lives of his players.

The Missouri Baptist University basketball team has developed a connection to Houston over the years, and several players on this year’s team discuss their adjustment to the Midwest.
