As a young child, seeing your parents split up never really hits you until you get older and you realize all the damage it has done to you, but as time goes along you learn to accept that you can’t fix a broken home.

The effects of growing up in a divorced household are eternal. Despite the scars of witnessing her parents’ divorce at 6 years old, junior Alexia Duncan has learned to move forward in accepting that God is ultimately in control, and He is with us through every battle.

Soccer Players Serve as the Hands and FEET of Christ

MBU sports team are often involved with various opportunities to give back to the St. Louis communities. One way the MBU men’s soccer team recognizes the value of serving as the hands and feet of Christ is through playing soccer each spring with special needs children as part of the SPENSA program.

Missouri Baptist University soccer players have helped with SPENSA-sponsored camps in St. Louis each spring for several years, and team members agree it is one of the most important outreaches they do as a team.

What Happens After Graduation?

It’s a question that has been presented to college students for as long as there have been colleges: What do you plan to do with your life after you graduate? And, of course, it is a difficult question to answer because, when it’s all said and done, we often do not know exactly what we will do upon graduation.

Sustaining the Nation’s Top Free Attraction

St. Louis County residents prepare to vote Tuesday, Nov. 6, on the future of the St. Louis Zoo by voting on Proposition Z, a proposed sales tax allowing the park to make necessary repairs, replacements and additions while keeping the landmark’s admission free.

The St. Louis Zoo has made nearly every travel guide list in the nation of the top free attractions in the United States, but that key word, “free,” could change depending on how Tuesday’s proposition vote goes.
