Katie Seffens is a staff writer for MBU Timeline. She is a senior majoring in broadcast media. She works part time in the studio on the MBU Campus, live streaming sports and helping with the video broadcast for MBU Timeline. Seffens has various facets in the media world including but not limited to producing, writing and editing.

Super Bowl Charity Offers Hope One Basket at a Time

Just like the name implies, Basket of Hope is a Christian non-profit organization that gives hope to children in hospitals across the country by letting people know they do not always have to be strong. MBU Timeline’s own Katie Seffens had the opportunity to travel to San Francisco, the site of Super Bowl 50, to volunteer with and document the “Super Baskets of Hope” event.
