In the spirit of Halloween, Photojournalism students experimented with exposure, long shutter speeds, glow sticks, fire and Halloween masks in our blacked-out studio. We adjusted our camera settings, set up tripods and created light effects around festive props to produce some amazingly spooky effects.
As students returned to Missouri Baptist University this fall, they arrived with plenty to do, from sports practices to disc golf to Chapel and even a visit with the Stanley Cup. Today’s photo gallery, by MBU Timeline photojournalists, captures many of the sights around campus and around St. Louis.
Guitarist Katelynn Freese leads students in worship after completing a recent hour-long Sunrise Stretch class on the Quad. Students woke up early for the class, which met outside that morning, to take advantage of cool morning temperatures.
What’s your reason for waking up every day and doing what you do? What is your drive to be better at what you do? What is your purpose each day? These are the questions that inspire today’s blog, generated by media students at MBU.
Why watch a game when you can be a part of one? That is a question posed by a group of students as they came together to work to increase attendance at a volleyball game this spring.
