As of fall 2018, MBU has implemented service days to take place each semester, during which students and staff can partake in service activities while also enjoying free food, yard games and live music.

I never imagined that God would use a wild mustang to bring me closer to Him, but Outlaw was proof that the Lord works in mysterious ways.

Working at a children’s ministry in September 2018, senior Dani Jo Stevenson rides bareback on Hero, an American Quarter horse. Stevenson used only a halter to lead Hero in flexion exercises, which she uses with every horse she trains.

Meet MBU’s Newest Athletic Trainers

Missouri Baptist University has added four young and talented personalities to the athletic training room in Stephanie Brewer, Austin Wagner, Alisha Frierdich and Drew Potter.

The Damage Done By A Broken Home

As a young child, seeing your parents split up never really hits you until you get older and you realize all the damage it has done to you, but as time goes along you learn to accept that you can’t fix a broken home.

The effects of growing up in a divorced household are eternal. Despite the scars of witnessing her parents’ divorce at 6 years old, junior Alexia Duncan has learned to move forward in accepting that God is ultimately in control, and He is with us through every battle.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes at MBU

On-campus, Christ-centered organizations allow students the opportunity to connect and grow in their faith alongside their peers. MBU’s FCA huddle meets at 7 p.m. every Thursday in the North Hall lobby.

Junior Meredith Linn, history major, and senior Ethan Metzler, physical education major, encourage students to attend FCA for food, fun and fellowship. Linn is a member of the women’s lacrosse team, and Metzler is a kicker for the football game.
