With so much information out there on financial aid, student loans, scholarships, tuition waivers, deferred loan payments and on and on, it is crucial for students to know exactly what they are getting in to before taking on debt to pay for college.
Easter weekend brings many meanings to many different people, communities and cultures. So, what does this Easter holiday mean to our students at Missouri Baptist University? We’ve asked a few of our journalism writing students to blog about what Easter means to each of them, personally.
What’s happening this week? Think hard. No, not a secret memo being released by the White House. No, not the Super Bowl. The XXIII Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang County, South Korea, begin Thursday, Feb. 8, with Opening Ceremonies scheduled for Friday. But how many of us will actually be tuning in? Do the Winter Olympics hold the same appeal for millennials and post-millennials as they did for prior generations? Communications students set out across MBU’s campus this week asking various relevant questions related to the upcoming Winter Olympic Games.

Have you ever thought about narrowing down your entire 2018 improvement plan into one valuable word? Just one word that tells exactly what you plan on doing better, or doing more of, or less of. This is the question posed to student journalists for this blog.

*The WordPress website has been up since late-fall 2013. We average about 3,000 sessions and about 5,000 pageviews per month.
*Our stories and galleries get as few as 40 or 50 hits, or as many as 8,000 hits.
*We have readers in every state and more than 90 countries around the world. We have several readers in South America, the United Kingdom, India and Australia.
*Most of our readers are in Missouri, followed by Illinois, California and Texas.
*We do not accept advertising as we are a not-for-profit online newsmagazine.
