Colby Duncan

Colby Duncan is a staff journalist for MBU Timeline. He is a senior majoring in journalism and minoring in psychology at Missouri Baptist University. Duncan is a left handed pitcher for the MBU baseball team and his athletic scholarship has brought him to St. Louis. Duncan is from Reno, Nev., and has grown up in the snow and the outdoors. He loves any type of action sport and is outdoors as much as possible. Duncan is ambitious, always ready for an adventure.

St. Louis Hot Air Balloon Races

It was the 43rd  year of The Great Forest Park Balloon Race. The balloon race is the oldest and most well attended free hot air balloon event in the world.

Festival of Nations Offers Dishes from Around the World

The Festival of Nations a few weekends ago at Tower Grove Park brought food to St. Louis from Bosnia, Burma, Cuba, Nigeria, Romania, Thailand, Turkey and many other countries that are unlike any food in the states.

Colby Duncan is from Reno Nevada and these photos are Duncan’s Road trip back to Reno after the spring semester at the end of May and also Duncan’s road trip back to MBU in August for this fall semester. On Duncan’s way back to Reno he went up north through Chicago, Mt. Rushmore, South Dakota, The Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Big Sky Mont., and Bozeman Mont. On Duncan’s way back he went through Pyramid Lake, Nevada, Quincy, Calif.,Pismo Beach and Avila Beach, California, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
