A Team of Champions – MBU Women’s Volleyball

The 2020 NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Champions end the regular season with a 24-2 record. After the winning season, four players earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors this week: Giovanna Tapigliani, Isidora Stojovic, Manuela Vargas and Ariana Macies. As the Spartans open the first round of this season’s National Championship games, MBU photojournalists captured some victorious memories for the defending champions.

MBU Theatre Presents “Eurydice”

The MBU Theatre Department will be performing “Eurydice” this weekend at the Pillsbury Chapel. The show involves a different acting style than what the performers have done in the past, but many of the performers have enjoyed the learning experience they received.

All Out, All Game, All Season – MBU Soccer

Soccer is a beloved fall sport at Missouri Baptist University. The Spartans ended the 2021 season with a 6-8-3 record. During the season, the Spartans won notable awards: Brandon Burton won AMC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 20, Louie Perez won Spartan Athlete of the Week on Oct. 4, and Nathan Brock won AMC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 18. Just before the season came to a close, MBU photojournalists took to the field to capture the action and heart of Spartan soccer.
