“Uncle Drew” and the Squad Rock the Park in Hoops Hit

 The old school meets the new school in “Uncle Drew,” a hilarious basketball comedy that also has a heart. Uncle Drew and his team take on the young generation in the Rucker Park Tournament and plan to show them how the game of basketball is really played.

Social media is the standard in today’s society in both business and personal communication. The technology created with great intention may bring more disadvantages than advantages. As young adults, we need to lead the charge of awareness as we become contributing members of society.

Witnessing a Murder

Growing up in urban St. Louis is a challenge. From the crime-riddled neighborhoods, drugs and one of highest murder rates in America, chances are slim that a child will make it out without falling prey to the vicious cycle. In my case, I got out, but not without seeing the brother of one of my friends gunned down in cold blood.
