Timeline Blog: 25th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall

With the recent anniversary of the falling of the Berlin Wall, Timeline staffers took a moment to blog on the significance and impact that day played in history. That day signified the end of an era of depression and injustice in Germany. Not only did it close the time of the Cold War, but it marked a bright journey for peace.

Chapel: Past and Present

From DeLozier Chapel in the basement of the Field Academic Hall to state-of-the-art services in the Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center, many aspects of this sacred service have changed while core values mirror MBU’s foundational heritage.

Fake stained glass windows adorn the former Delozier Chapel, which is now the Records Office in the basement of the Field Academic Hall. Even with such basic facilities, staff and faculty worked hard to create a sacred environment.

*The WordPress website has been up since late-fall 2013. We average about 3,000 sessions and about 5,000 pageviews per month.
   
*Our stories and galleries get as few as 40 or 50 hits, or as many as 8,000 hits.
   
*We have readers in every state and more than 90 countries around the world. We have several readers in South America, the United Kingdom, India and Australia.
   
*Most of our readers are in Missouri, followed by Illinois, California and Texas.
   
*We do not accept advertising as we are a not-for-profit online newsmagazine.
